Agios Nikolaos City - Spinalonga - Elounda
Enjoying a picturesque view of the deep blue waters of the Cretan Sea as we travel east along the north coast, we arrive at the Bay of Mirabello and the quaint little town of Agios Nikolaos. Agios Nikolaos is one of the most picturesque towns on our island because of the lovely bay, the vibrant streets, and—most importantly—the lake in the middle of the town. We visit for a leisurely coffee break, a quick shopping trip, or a stroll around the gorgeous lake.
We board a ship at the port of Elounda and head for the island of Spinalonga. The leisurely boat ride lasts for about thirty minutes.
One of the last leper colonies in Europe is located on the island of Spinalonga. Learn about the magnificent past with your knowledgeable guide. You have time for lunch, coffee or swimming after boarding the ship once more and sailing back to the port of Elounda.
