Elafonisi Island - Balos Lagoon
Crete's two top beaches in one day, what else can you ask for? Early in the morning you shead to the utmost Southwest of the island, to the world-famous beach and lagoon of Elafonisi. Pink-coloured sand, turquoise waters and endless dunes are waiting to be discovered before the crowds arrive.
Then you are off to the North, for a spectacular coastal off-road drive up to Balos. After a short walk, the ultimate viewpoint awaits you, showing you the lagoon of Balos in all its splendour.
You keep walking downhill while the view remains spectacular until you arrive at the beach: Luke-warm water, white sands and pure relaxation are in store for you.
A boat ride along the rugged North Coast will take you to the port of Kissamos where your return trip starts.

Samaria Gorge Long Way
Stretching for some 16 km through the White Mountains, the George of Samaria is one of Europe's longest and wildest. Hiking through the gorge and descending from an altitude of almost 1.000m to sea level is a fantastic experience if you are a nature lover and active person.
Imbros Gorge
This gorge, that runs parallel to its bigger neighbour Samaria, is only 8km long and easily accessible also for less experienced hikers or families. The gorge is absolutely beautiful, with lots of opportunities for pictures of the impressive rock formations and the surrounding mountains.
